Hey everyone! I'm back with a couple of cards using cute little embellishments from Southern Ridge Trading Company's great line of products.

First one is a masculine birthday card featuring this great little wooden star in a circle (Wood-192) I love the natural look of the wood cutouts & really like that you don't have to do a thing to them to make look fantastic! :P

The next card is an everyday card using one of these adorable flowers from right here FLW-006

I smooch sprayed the flower & then added one squirt of the marshmallow glimmer mist. I love how it just blends in so well with the paper colours! I added a button with a linen thread bow to top it off!

Happy Thursday to you! The great thing about all this unsettled weather is that we don't have to waste water on lawns & gardens! :) And Kamloops is so green right now - it's amazing!! Another great thing about unsettled weather is it's a good time to not feel guilty about sitting in your craft room working on projects LOL! Next week is our SECOND BIRTHDAY BASH -- not just celebrating 2 years of being open on June 3, but partying all week long! Good Tuesday morning to you! Sunshine always helps to start the week off right! :) Lots of new stock on the New Product wall to check out, and the new Simple Stories lines (Good Day Sunshine, Hello Baby, Under the Stars (CAMPING LINE) & Story of Us) should be arriving in the next week to ten days! I will keep you posted. I've also heard that the new Bo Bunny lines will be heading out to the wholesalers in the next couple of weeks so LOTS to look forward too! I am open today from 9am until 4pm. Well that explains A LOT! I just got an email notification that the last of the western scrapbooking wholesalers is closing effective June 13. All preorders placed with this wholesaler have been cancelled which leaves us scrambling (again!) to fill orders with other wholesalers who most likely have not ordered enough to fulfill the additional demand. Unfortunately the scrapbooking industry has been in decline for several years now and with the increasing number of store closings, decline in the Canadian dollar, increasing fuel surcharges and competition from American distributors, & online/home based stores, the brick & mortar scrapbook stores are finding it harder & harder to make their business sustainable. I am asking for your patience as I try to reorder lines that were expected & will do my best to continue to provide you with product that is affordable & arrives in a timely manner. I am doing my best in an industry that continues to shift to online markets that undercut prices so badly, retail stores have a hard time competing. I am sitting here just shaking my head - it's a sad day for the scrapbooking industry in Canada... :(

Hello to the Southern Ridge Trading Company fans out there! I'm back with a wedding card for this post full of great little goodies from SRTC 

Black is so classic & elegant & makes the wedding colours of the lucky couple pop off the page.

I started using a Memory box Stencil with some Viva Decor  Inka Gold in Haematite. Then I carried that colour theme over to my circle flourish frame (Frames & Borders) and one of the lovely birds from the kit (NAT-295). 

I also inked a wooden heart charm in a blue/grey to match the colour scheme.

The butterfly border die is from Memory Box. I then stamped a circular wedding sentiment & embellished with Prima flowers & some jewel flourish bling to pull it all together.

I hope the lucky couple loves their wedding card as much I do!

It's a beautiful Thursday morning in Kamloops! Always so happy to see blue skies & sunshine & nice warm temps! This is why we live here LOL! :P There is a chance that I might get a delivery today -- I don't like not having a tracking number to follow! :/ I'll keep you posted if I get anything in at the store.
